Micromax finally announced the successor of Micromax A110 canvas 2 which is Micromax A116 Canvas HD with a quad-core processor and 5″ HD IPS screen. micromax improved the Screen resolution and processor quality over A110. This dual SIM smartphone comes in Android 4.1 out of the box (will be updated to Android 4.2 very soon). They also increased the RAM from 512MB to 1GB. This phone is launched in India at an affordable price of Rs-15,000 (~US $ 275), which is really a Galaxy S3 killer.
